Current exhibitions include: Leonardo da Vinci: Mechanics of Man (until May 2010) and Visions of British Columbia: A Landscape Manual (until April 2010) make the Vancouver Art Gallery a “must-visit” and an integral part of the Vancouver experience.

Shopping: The Gallery Store is one of Vancouver's greatest treasures, featuring a uniquely Canadian selection of contemporary art books, posters, paper goods, jewellery and designer giftware, including a broad range of Emily Carr merchandise.

Eat & Drink: The licensed Gallery Café boasts the best outdoor patios in downtown Vancouver, with gourmet snacks, pastries, salads and hearty lunches.

Directions: Located in the heart of the downtown shopping district, the Vancouver Art Gallery occupies an entire city block, bounded by Georgia Street, Hornby Street, Robson Street and Howe Street. Enter the Gallery from Hornby Street or Robson Street Plaza (adjacent to Howe Street). Both entrances are wheelchair accessible.

Dates of Operation: Open every day of the year except Christmas day and New Years day.
